So I'm working on a little project. You can follow my
progress here. WinX68 SDL/Win32.

I got the FMP/PMD plugin for XMMS to build. It seems to skip
all the songs that have PCM data though. Only FM-only songs play. Here it is
anyway, if anyone figures it out, lemme know. Also, this shell script might help if you
need to convert your PDX files to lowercase. I'll change all the files
in the current working directory to lowercase.

A little bit of good news if you run Linux. I found an
XMMS(*NIX) plug-in for MDX that works sufficiently. I had to change the
name of a variable to get it to build on my system. Theres one for
FMP/PMD as well, but it has mega linker problems and I haven't had a
chance to look it over just yet. I'm running Gentoo with a 2.6.11
kernel and XMMS 1.2.10, YMMV. It's on the MXDRV page.

News is news. For all your JComp needs check out NFG Game Sales. Gobs
of X68000 hard and soft and other systems too. The PCM files for FMPMD music are back. There is a seven part
spanned RAR totalling 8.5MB.

It was recently brought to my attention by one of my adoring
fans that there isn't a link anywhere on the site to the PC98 FMPMD
archive anymore. So I added one, its in the PC98 section.
I
also did a little bit of cleanup here and there to save myself from
answering emails about games. There are not, and will never be games on
this site ever again.

I'm sure some of you knew this would be coming at some point,
and I'm sure some of you had already given up long ago. This site is
now closed for updates. I will not be covering any news or adding any
new features. For your news watch the Japanese Computer Emulation Centre. I just don't
have the time or the inclination to keep up on whats happening. I will
still be answering e-mail's as I get them. Thanks to everyone for their
support, biggest thanks to the people in #x68000 EFNET.
