PC98 Downloads
For now I'll just post the stuff you need to get Anex86 up and running. In the future I hope to expand this section to contain all the essentials to running a PC98.
| Required files: | These are files required by the emulator. |
| Anex86 2.14 | This is the emulator itself. AFAIK the best PC98 emulator around. You'll also need to download the boot ROMs and the font. |
| PC98 Font | This font is required to use the emulator properly. If you dont use it all you'll get is garbage when you boot the emulator. |
| PC98 Boot ROM's | These, quite obviously, are the boot ROM's for the PC9801. |
| Recommended files: | These are optional plugins for Anex86 that we recommend you use. |
| Sound Enhancement | Allows the use of sample/mixing frequencies up to 55khz and also inproves overall quality of the sound emulation. |
| MIDI Enhancement | Improves the MIDI emulation quality. |
| Optional Files | Files not required by the emulator and not recommended unless you need them and/or know what they do. |
| Printer Support | Adds printer support. |
| Dipswitch Support | Adds the ability to change the system's dip switches and memory switches. |
| Hi-color Support | Adds support for 16-bit color for those games/applications that support it. |
| CD-ROM Support | Adds CD-ROM support for games that require it. |
| Unknown Support ^_~ | I dont know, you tell me hehe. |
| Unknown Support | I dont know this one either, little help? |
| COM Port Support | I think this adds support for the pc98's COM ports. |
