SX-Windows
Documentation Project
Well, its taken me quite some time to get this far. But I've completed
the SX-Windows Documentation Project to the point that I feel I can release
it. If you dont know what SX-Windows is, you probably shouldn't be here,
but I'll tell you anyway :-). SX-Windows
is one of two windowing environments for the X68000. It is somewhat reminiscent
of Amiga Workbench. The other called Ko-Windows
will be familiar to UNIX/X users.
There aren't a
whole lot of apps written for SX-Win, but there seem to be fewer in Ko-Win
so I opted to document SX-Win. This project covers SX-Windows as in depth
as I can without actually owning an X68000 or SX-Win(i.e. if I had a
manual that'd be great, donations are welcome :-). I'm not quite sure how
I want to present this, so if you all feel that this is too cumbersome,
drop me an email and give suggestions.
| SX-Windows Basics |
First we'll
cover how to boot SX-Win from a floppy and how to use everything and
get you a basic knowledge of how things work. |
| Using Hard Drives |
Next we'll
install it to a hard drive and get everything set up for it to boot
up when you start EX68. |
