Using WinDRV
By now you should have an idea how to use WinXDF to get stuff to and from X68000 disk images. We're going to build on that knowledge and get WinXDF installed on the disk of your choice. WinXDF is a great tool released by Yamama, the author of EX68. It allows you to access all drives that windows currently has access to. This includes hard drives, cd-rom drives, zip, and even network volumes. Again, first things first, yer gonna want to download it. This zip contains all the files you'll need to get WinDRV up and running. First thing you might notice is that HumanOS uses an autoexec.bat and config.sys just like MS-DOS does. You'll probably find that HumanOS is very similar to MS-DOS in other ways, but thats a topic for another tutorial.

Anyway.... fire up WinXDF. Find the disk image that you're planning on installing WinDRV on(preferably a hard drive, but floppies work too). Open up the disk, and pick the 3 files that are contained within the zip. Open up EX68 and boot from your newly written disk image. If everything went as planned you should see something similar to the image below. Notice the 3 lines labeled win drive. Those are the lines that tell the drive letter that your pc drive was mapped to. On a standard EX68 setup with one hard drive and two floppies the drives will start at D(corresponding to C: on your PC) and end at Z. If you're on a LAN its likely that you'll have way more drives than you want mapped, it may constitute a security risk, though I cant say for sure.
